Admissions at LGU

You can apply online through the LGU Admissions Portal (admissions.lgu.edu.pk). Simply register an account, fill in your personal and academic details, upload the required documents, and submit your application. You can track your progress directly from the dashboard.

For most Bachelor's (BS) programs, candidates must have completed Intermediate (HSSC) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks. Specific computing, science, or professional programs may require higher marks and relevant subject combinations.

Admissions to MS/MPhil and PhD programs require clearing the LGU Graduate Admission Test or HEC-approved tests. Some specialized undergraduate programs also require departmental entry tests or interviews, which will be scheduled via your portal.

Yes, LGU offers a wide range of scholarships, including Merit-based scholarships (based on entry marks/GPA), Kinship discounts, Army/Garrison wards concessions, and need-based financial aid. These can be applied for after securing admission.

Merit lists are calculated based on your academic weights (Matriculation, Intermediate, and entry test results if applicable). Selected candidates are notified via SMS/Email, and merit lists are posted on the LGU website and campus boards.

Before submitting, you can save and edit your form. Once submitted, changes are locked. If you need to correct critical details, you must contact the LGU Admissions Support Desk or visit the admissions office for assistance.
